Privacy is a significant concern, with incidents of data breaches and unauthorised access contributing to the problem. Cybersecurity threats are also rising, with malware, ransomware, and phishing attacks posing risks to individuals, businesses, and governments. Misinformation and fake news are also significant issues, with the Internet's setup allowing everyone to share information, leading to the rapid spread of misinformation and fake news. This can have real-world consequences and be dangerous.

The Internet has undergone many changes, with various trends and phases emerging. Remote work has become more prevalent, leading to a surge in collaboration tools, video conferencing platforms, and project management software. Short-form videos, particularly on platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels, have gained immense popularity, with users and businesses leveraging these platforms for creative and engaging content. Live streaming has also become a significant trend for entertainment and virtual events, conferences, and product launches. Platforms like Twitch and YouTube Live have seen increased activity.

The rise of short-form videos is one of the most significant changes the Internet has recently undergone.
